Chipkot Land: Accumulation Application | Dynamics

165 applications have been received for allotment of land for setting up factories in ‘Chipkot’ industrial parks.

In Tamil Nadu, there are 80 large companies operating. At present, there are 24 industrial parks and six special economic zones. Nine industrial parks are being set up. Chipkot officials said: Land acquisition for companies contracted by the Tamil Nadu government to invest in Tamil Nadu is underway. Three parks are being set up in Kanchipuram and one in Tiruvallur.

Similarly, new parks are being set up on 6,625 acres in Virudhunagar, Ramanathapuram, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri. We request new companies to come and start businesses in the southern districts. In the current financial year, 165 applications have been received for land allotment.

Of these, we have approved 60 applications. 72 applications are under consideration; 33 applications have been finalized.
