Patna/Delhi: Chirag Paswan met JP Nadda in Delhi with the list of seats. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Lok Janshakti Party had won 6 seats. After this, in 2021 the party got divided between Pashupati Paras and Chirag Paswan. Five MPs left with Pashupati Paras and Paras also became a minister in the central government. The election symbol of the party was also confiscated. Now Chirag Paswan has reached out to JP Nadda with stake on all the seats for 2019. However, it is being told that after listening to Chirag Paswan, BJP National President JP Nadda did not give any assurance but assured to take appropriate decision at the appropriate time.
Chirag met Nadda with the list
Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) national president Chirag Paswan met BJP national president JP Nadda in Delhi on Thursday. During this, Chirag Paswan expressed his claim on six Lok Sabha seats including Hajipur, which his party had won in 2019 under Ram Vilas Paswan. However, later the political situation changed and the party broke up. Except Chirag, all five MPs joined Pashupati Paras. Chirag Paswan remained the only MP of his party.
Preparation for Chirag on all 40 seats
In this meeting, Chirag Paswan assured JP Nadda that his party is making preparations on all 40 seats, so that it can fully help its ally. A meeting of all Lok Sabha in-charges, district heads, district in-charges and co-in-charges was also held in Patna. In this, brainstorming was done regarding the preparations on all the Lok Sabha seats. State President Raju Tiwari was coordinating this meeting.
Controversy regarding Hajipur seat also
It is being told that like the last Lok Sabha elections, the party is preparing to contest elections on six seats (Hajipur, Samastipur, Khagaria, Jamui, Vaishali and Nawada). There is also a fierce battle going on between Pashupati Paras and Chirag Paswan for Hajipur Lok Sabha seat. Chirag Paswan has also announced to contest elections from here. But, the problem with BJP is that along with Chirag and Pashupati Paras, it also has to adjust Upendra Kushwaha, Jitan Ram Manjhi and RCP Singh.
