First heavy rain and then landslide at midnight on 29th July devastated everything. The death toll has reached 365. It has been six days since the accident and the search operation is still going on. Many celebrities have extended financial help to help Wayanad. After Allu Arjun and Mohanlal, now Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have donated crores of rupees to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Chiranjeevi has donated one crore rupees to the relief fund along with his son Ram Charan. He also expressed grief over the tragic deaths in this disaster. In a post shared on Instagram, he prayed for all the people struggling through this difficult time.

Chiranjeevi tweeted, “Deeply saddened by the devastation caused by nature’s fury in Kerala in the last few days and the loss of hundreds of precious lives. Deeply saddened by the loss. My heartfelt condolences to the victims of the Wayanad tragedy. Charan and I are jointly contributing Rs 1 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help the victims. I pray for the recovery of all those suffering from the pain.”

Before Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, Allu Arjun donated Rs 25 lakh to the relief fund. Surya, Jyotika and Karthi together donated Rs 50 lakh, while Rashmika Mandana donated Rs 10 lakh and Chiyaan Vikram donated Rs 20 lakh. It is known that 206 people are still missing in the disaster in Wayanad.
