The country’s popular band ‘Chirkut’ has crossed the borders of the country and gained fame abroad. This time, Chirkut’s song ‘Magic City’ has been posted in a reel on the FIFA World Cup Facebook page.
According to Chirkut, their song ‘Magic City’ has been shared on the Facebook page of 60 million followers of FIFA World Cup. This is an inspiration for them.
Band member Pavel said, ‘It’s a great pleasure for our band. The song is in the list of favorite songs of Bengalis at home and abroad. That song has now made it to the Facebook page of the FIFA authorities, which is really a matter of pride for us.’
The band’s vocalist Sumi said, ‘The song that was shared on the Facebook page of the FIFA World Cup, we got to know about it by receiving calls and messages from our fans and well-wishers. Later I saw that the incident is correct.’
He also said, ‘Since childhood, I have been watching and hearing that World Cup football means FIFA. A Bengali song went on their page today, I liked it. Thus once again the magic city song came in front of everyone. I saw that the fans were more happy than us. This love of fans is an inspiration for us.’
On the FIFA World Cup Facebook page today (September 14), the song ‘Magic City’ was released in reel form with the Bengali caption reading, ‘The greatest exhibition of small football is now with us.’

Anand and Sumi wrote the lyrics of the song ‘Jadur Shabar’ by the band ‘Chirkut’. Music directed by Sumi, Pintu Ghosh and Eamon Chowdhury. Pavel Orin was the sound producer.
Chirkut composed the song ‘Magic City’ 11 years ago for the serial drama ‘Magic City’ by producer Nurul Alam Atiq. Through this song, the group became widely known to music lovers.
