Vikram will play the lead in the new film of famous Tamil director Pa Ranjith. Earlier, rumors of such a project were circulating but the official announcement was made today. Recently, after Parenjith had a discussion with Kamal Haasan, there was a rumor on social media that a picture of the two coming together was coming. But Ranjith Kamal Haasan will be joining the film only after Vikram completes the film.
This is the 61st film of Vikram’s career (Chiyaan 61) with Pa Ranjith. Produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green. This is the 23rd production of Studio Green. Filming will begin later this month. The names of the other stars and technicians will be announced soon, the manufacturers said.
Pa Ranjith’s latest release is ‘Sarpatta Paramparai’ which is a direct OTD release. The movie starring Aryan was a huge hit with the audience. He later announced the release of ‘Nachathiram Nagargirat’ starring Ashok Selvan, Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Vikram is currently starring in Ajay Gyanamuthu’s ‘Cobra’. This film is in the final schedule. Vikram has completed Mani Ratnam’s Ponniin Selvan and Karthik Subbaraj’s Mahan.
