Broadcaster Choi Hwa-jung revealed the Hanok mansion where she used to live.
On the 13th, a video titled ‘Choi Hwa-jung’s childhood ‘Hanok mansion’ (in the middle of Seoul) revealed for the first time on TV’ was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Hello, this is Choi Hwa-jung’.
In the video, Choi Hwa-jung visits the Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul with Kim Sook, and Choi Hwa-jung says, “Our neighborhood,” that her old house was a single-family home with a yard. Kim Sook says, “This older sister is truly the daughter of a rich family,” and Choi Hwa-jung admits, “That’s right, she was rich back then.”
Next, Choi Hwa-jung visited the Hanok mansion where she used to live. The house, which has now been turned into a gallery, still retains its original appearance. Kim Sook exclaimed, “This house is so nice,” and Choi Hwa-jung recalled, “My maternal grandmother and grandfather used to live here.” She then climbed the stone steps and looked around the old house, saying, “It’s touching,” and “Don’t people remember their registered address? Even now, I always say this address.”
Also, Choi Hwa-jung said, “I thought it was really big back then,” and “I miss my dad,” and her eyes turned red. She continued, “I remember my dad putting a slide in the yard,” and Kim Sook agreed, saying, “I think I grew up receiving a lot of love.”
He said, “My mom is an only daughter, and it wasn’t easy being an only daughter at the time,” and “But my dad built a house here for me to take care of my maternal grandmother, and we were always centered on our daughter.” He then said, “Life is fleeting,” and “My mom and dad are both gone, and I’m now in my 60s and I’m finally coming home.”
