Making evaluations about the incident, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Özgür Özel claimed that the person protesting the Presidential candidate of the Nation Alliance, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, was former MUSIAD Branch President Hüseyin Kalan.
Özel continued his statements to TELE1 with the following words; “One of the containers started to protest our president. At first, I was surprised; you think that the container is an earthquake victim, ‘CHP mentality, we know you, get out of here, etc.’ At that time, Veli Ağbaba (CHP Malatya deputy) turned towards that container and said, ‘Hüseyin Bey, I recognized you, I saw you.’ I said, ‘Brother, do you know?’ He said, ‘Hüseyin Kalan’, the former president of MUSIAD.”
Claiming that Hüseyin Kalan tucked himself into the container like an earthquake victim, Özel said, “He is protesting our chairman from there. When his deception was revealed, this time he turned to the Saadet Party members, saying, “Shame on you, Erbakan teacher’s bones are aching, how can you be arm in arm with CHP members? You walk. What kind of insults and stuff. This is not a normal thing,” he said.
