Returning to Israel. Chris Evans, who previously played (2015/16) at Hapoel Tel Aviv and then at Nahariya, signed for Hapoel Eilat and will strengthen the staff of Ariel Beit Halachmi, the club announced tonight (Wednesday).

The Power Forward (2.03, 31), a graduate of Kent College, began his professional career with Trikala Arias from the First Greek League. Evans later played in the first Italian league and in the 2015/16 season landed in Israel and signed with Hapoel Tel Aviv where he averaged 17.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.

Evans, as mentioned, also managed to play for Nahariya, from which he embarked on his European journey, which included Canto, Monaco, Gran Canaria and Virtus Roma. Evans is expected to join the team’s training already next week and will be available to Beit Halachmi in the upcoming game against Maccabi Rishon LeZion.
