jpnn.com – Indonesian men’s singles player Christian Adinata had to be relegated from the PBSI National Training Center in Cipayung.

PBSI did not include Adinata’s name among the 81 players registered in the first phase of the 2025 PBSI National Training.

Knowing that he had been relegated, Christian Adinata could not hide his sadness.

Through uploads on his personal social media, the player who was born in Pati felt abandoned by PBSI considering that he was struggling to recover from injury.

“I fought for my country until the end, but they (PBSI) abandoned me when I was down.”

“Thanks for all the memories and let’s look to the future,” Christian wrote.

Various forms of support for Christian Adinata emerged, including from fellow men’s singles badminton players.

The former world number one player, Viktor Axelsen, is even ready to accommodate Adinata to train together in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
