Varapuzha: Vaidin was arrested in the case of molesting a minor. Father Joseph Kodian (63), Vicar of St. Thomas Church, Edambadam, was arrested. A 14-year-old boy nearby who brought food to the priest was tortured. The child informed the parents after the child felt uncomfortable during the online tuition. The arrest was made following a complaint filed by the family.

The police said that the child will undergo counseling soon. Sections 7 and 8 of the POCSO Act have been charged against him. The offense is punishable by imprisonment for more than seven years.
