In the north-west
It’s one of the largest charities in the Northwest. For many years, a wide variety of projects in the Oldenburg region have been supported by the NWZ Christmas campaign.
Great importance was attached to ensuring that not one cent was deducted from the donations received for administration costs. The special feature of this large relief operation in the north-west is that the costs incurred are borne entirely by the “Nordwest-Zeitung”. There are no deductions, and all donations can be used undiminished for the purpose of the donation.
Anyone who takes part in the NWZ Christmas campaign as a donor can fully deduct their donation from their taxes. For transfers of up to 200 euros, the tax offices accept a transfer receipt. Irrespective of this, every donor of a sum of 100 euros or more automatically receives a tax-effective donation receipt from the non-profit NWZ Foundation. However, in addition to the name, the exact address must also be given on the transfer form.
The donors are regularly printed in the NWZ. If you do not want this, you can prevent this with a note on the transfer slip. Then the donation will be published with the note “unnamed donor”.
