The campaign Good Christmasmade by Central Única das Favelas (Cufa) in partnership with Lello, distributed 5,000 toys to children living in favelas in the capital of São Paulo. The initiative collected toys donated by residents of 30 condominiums in São Paulo and raised funds via the internet that reached the amount of R$50 thousand. The toys were delivered to the favelas of Brasilândia, Jardim da Conquista, Grajaú and Paraisópolis. According to Cufa, which has been carrying out work for over 20 years as a non-governmental organization (NGO), the initiative to distribute toys to children is not just an act of generosity, but an expression of welcome. Through this action, the entity seeks to bring the values of unity and hope to young people in the favelas of São Paulo.
