Event details. Aida Bocock, director of Education and Culture of the Municipality of Guatemala, reported that the activity begins on November 22 and ends on Wednesday, December 20.
This year the parade will reach more than 20 areas of Guatemala City. The activity will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It is expected to start in front of the Municipal Palace, located at 21 Calle 6-77 Zone 1, Civic Center, to reach zone 3 of the capital. “With great joy and color, we hope to inaugurate the Parade to bring entertainment to children and adults. During the activity, many families and friends gather to observe the Christmas pictures,” he added.
Route. The route on Wednesday, December 20 will be in zone 18 of the capital. The activity begins in the North Regency zone 18 and concludes at 8th avenue and 9th street in Colonia Atlántida in zone 18 of the capital.
Characters. Among the Christmas pictures will be the Frosty family, Santa Claus’s sleigh, a candy track with elves and a castle with princesses. Also dancers, nutcrackers, Santa Claus and his sleigh.
“The activity promises joy, music, magic and a lot of color for the whole family during its 25 tours in the city areas,” explained Bocock. He clarified that the number, size and dimension of the floats will be the same as in 2022, on that occasion there were nine.
