Chrysler showed off the Halcyon electric coupe. The new product supports Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer charging technology. The futuristic model is distinguished by unusual functionality. For example, an electric car can greet the driver when approaching and also play music if the driver is in a bad mood. Biometric scanners monitor the condition of the driver and adjust the interior so that it calms him down.

The prototype Halcyon has doors that open 90 degrees against the direction of travel, allowing access to the cabin without a B-pillar. At the same time, the roof panels open in a gull-wing style, forming a T-shape reminiscent of the style of concept sports cars of the 1980s.

American engineers did not reveal any technical characteristics, except that the electric car is built on the STLA Large platform, uses Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (DWPT) wireless charging technology, as well as the promising STLA Brain electronic and software architecture. The battery here is lithium-sulfur, with an operating voltage of 800 volts, but its capacity is not indicated. Halcyon has STLA AutoDrive, which provides a fourth level of autonomy.
