Chuck Norris turns 82: from Cherokee origins to (lost) challenges with Bruce Lee, the man who was afraid of nothing

by time news

It is 82 years today for Chuck Norris, an American cult actor of the action genre who later became a television icon in the 90s for the series Walker Texas Ranger which from 1993 to 2001 made it famous all over the world. Cordell Walker, the ranger he plays, is afraid of nothing and resolves things his way, often violent and exaggerated. The character, also created by Norris, is partly autobiographical because he is half American and half Cherokee. The actor, in fact, born in Ryan in Oklahoma on March 10, 1940, had a grandfather of Irish descent and a Cherokee grandmother, a native of the United States. While the episodes of the series still pass today on the IRIS channel, in America we await the beginning of the work on the reboot of the character with Walker, to take back the hat of Norris will be the actor Jared Tristan Padalecki (Supernaturall, A mother as a friend)
