Chungju City will operate an emergency medical treatment system during the Chuseok holidays. Chungju City announced that it will operate an emergency medical treatment system to prevent gaps in medical treatment and prepare for emergency patients during the Chuseok holidays (September 14-18).

A total of 159 places, including 94 hospitals, 50 pharmacies, 15 public health centers, and health clinics, will participate in emergency medical services during the holiday period.

In addition, Chungcheongbuk-do Chungju Medical Center, an emergency medical institution in the province, operates a 24-hour emergency room, and Chungju Mirae Hospital plans to provide 24-hour treatment services for emergency patients during the holiday period.

Additionally, Chungju Byeolsan Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic (Hoam-dong/855-3582) provides emergency delivery 24 hours a day.

In order to minimize inconvenience to residents during the Chuseok holiday, the city plans to conduct general medical treatment at the Chungju City Health Center for two days on the 16th and 17th.

In addition, health clinics plan to participate in emergency treatment at three locations per day per region during the five-day Chuseok holiday period.

Meanwhile, the city plans to organize situation workers during the Chuseok holiday to check the operating status of medical institutions and the status of hospitals and pharmacies that are open, and operate a comprehensive situation room from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the holiday period.

In addition, the central situation room plans to switch its staff from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. the next day to working from home to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day.
