A Mesagne the “Casa di Zaccheo” gives life to the “San Giuseppe Moscati” medical clinic: a beacon of hope for all. The new “San Giuseppe Moscati” clinic will be inaugurated on Saturday, September 21, at 11:00 am, in the Casa di Zaccheo, in Via M. Materdona, 95 in Mesagne. The initiative was born with the intent of guaranteeing easier access to medical care.
The clinic, which takes its name from San Joseph Moscati, the doctor of the poor, is the result of a process of discernment that has matured in recent years within the charitable structure. Its opening will be blessed by Father Peter De PunzioVicar Forane and head of the House of Zacchaeus, who underlined the scent of the Gospel that permeates this place dedicated to the care and attention towards the least, lonely people, emigrants and less well-off families.
The service offered by the clinic is made possible thanks to the collaboration of Dr. Giusi Galeonevolunteer doctor. The clinic will be open every Wednesday from 9 to 11. The main objective of the “San Giuseppe Moscati” clinic is to promote the social inclusion of the most vulnerable, directing them towards the most appropriate services available in the area. Don Pietro emphasized that the clinic is dedicated to those who experience situations of hardship and suffering, including migrants who face physical difficulties.
