Church of Metapán, I have you in my heart, you are the house of San Pedro and of
Our Lord where we metapanecos are going to ask for forgiveness and our peace
Spiritual; From our houses we hear the joyful ringing of their bells
Announcing the holy mass, because it is the joy of our hearts.
Your colonial style is admired by all who visit you and your white color
It represents the purity of the “White City”.
You are the pride of all metapanecos, because you beautify our Center
Historical admired by all who visit us.
If you want to feel peace, tranquility and your heart happy, visit your colonial church
From Metapán, pride of the metapanecos.
In this month of June 2023 our church is turning 280 years old.
