In his order suspending Adarsh, the ADGP pointed out that the incident had tarnished the reputation of the Police Training College. He also directed to remove the officer from the training college.

The action was taken on the basis of a report submitted to the DGP, Principal, Police Training College, who investigated the plagiarism. The report said that Adarsh’s action was against the army. Adarsh, an LLB student, also took a law class for police trainees. Adarsh ​​was arrested a few days ago by a university squad for cheating on an exam for the LLB Public International Law Paper.

Following the controversy over the incident, the Principal of the Police Training College, K.L. John Kutty was appointed by DGP Anil Kant. The Principal of the Police Training College submitted a letter to the Controller of Examinations, University of Kerala and the Principal, Law Academy, College of Law requesting details on the basis of this. University and college officials said Adarsh ​​had been arrested by a probation team for plagiarism. Based on this, the PTC Principal submitted a report confirming the plagiarism.

The university squad arrested four people, including Adarsh, for plagiarism. Most of the students studying in the evening batch at the Law Academy are government officials. Indications are that the information is being kept secret, with the possibility of other government officials being caught red-handed. But there are indications that the two arrested are regular students.
