With more than 14 million followers, Kai Cenat is one of the biggest streamers in the world. He is currently immersed in an extended marathon through his Mafiathon 2, in which he has just achieved the record for the streamer with the most Twitch subscriptions for the second time; a feat recently achieved by Vtuber IronMouse. However, to the public’s surprise, Kai Cenat is confirmed that he received the offer, but decided to reject it; million dollar offer.
The offer made by Kicking to Kai Cenat
As revealed by Kai Cenat, Kick was contacted in 2023 while conducting the first Mafiathon. According to him, the platform offered him to do half of the marathon on Kick and then it was revealed that he was going to switch to it. In return, the streamer would receive 60 million dollars.
“One day before the first Mafiathon, Kick called me on the phone, all live. They told me: ‘Hey, we will give you 60 (million) dollars.’ I’m pretty sure it was 60 million,” he said during one of his broadcasts.
In the same way, the streamer was also what was your reaction? with the news: ”I hung up the phone and this is true, literally on my knees down and prayed and I asked God if this was the right decision, I wanted to follow my heart.. .Conversation, I still think, if I had gone (to Kick), I wouldn’t be here right now.
While many streamers have switched platforms, not everyone is happy with the change. The most obvious example is that Chilewho openly said that Kick promised a lot, but didn’t always deliver. Pokimane also said that he would never go to the platform, since he had behavior “to go to prison.” However, others like Spreen seem to be very happy with the change. What’s clear is that, at a time when Twitch isn’t getting good news, the loyalty of big streamers like Cenat is key to moving forward.

Kai Cenat: Sure! The Mafiathon is about bringing together my audience and having an amazing time. I wanted to create something fun and engaging—something that can entertain and connect people, especially during tough times. The idea was to keep it fresh, spontaneous, and full of surprises.
