On the Monte Faito appointment on 25 July at the fifteenth edition of the Doc Fest: films, meetings, workshops, walks

Direct testimonies of young Iranian authors and a retrospective tribute dedicated to the most important Iranian filmmaker and poet of the twentieth century, Forough Farrokhzad. The Faito Doc Festival opens a window on the Middle Eastern country on Monday 25 July at 6 pm at the tendo structure of the House of Cinemaevent curated by Chiara Pacifico with the collaboration of Domenico Ingenito from Matin Sayefi.
During the day the documentary “La casa è nera” will be screened, with a poetic walk with itinerant recitation of Forough’s verses declaimed in Italian and in Farsi. In addition, a video testimony of the author’s translator into Italian will be shown, Domenico Ingenitoprofessor of Persian literature at UCLA, who gave a preview to the Faito Doc Festival of the poems that will be contained in the volume to be released in 2023 entitled “Forugh Farrokhzad: Complete Poems ”.
The Faito is a natural park at 1,131 meters above sea level that embraces two gulfs, facing the bay of Naples, Vesuvius, the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida. The belvedere and the changing light are already a show that welcomes the shows of the Fest. It is also connected by a cable car to the Castellammare station.
