Just like the name of the shop, Super Masala is a story. Saravanan studied abroad and became a globally renowned scientist. Although many countries offered to give him work in his honour, he turned them all down and returned to his country saying that he would serve his countrymen, especially the people of his own village.

In the village, Robo Shankar, his childhood friend who studied with him dies of diabetes. The death of his friend affects Saravan very much. He spends day and night researching and finding a cure for diabetes.

This is affecting diabetes pill-makers. Drug company president Suman is very angry with Saravanan.

In this situation, love blossoms between Saravanan and Geethika Tiwari, the daughter of Thambi Ramaiah and a college professor.

An attempt is being made to kill Saravanan by planting a bomb in his car. In which he is shown to have a lucky escape – Geethika Tiwari loses her life.

The rest of the story is how Saravanan succeeds in his ambition by breaking the conspiracies of the villains.

A bit of ‘Ulagam Dodtum Valiban’ and a bit of ‘Shivaji’ are peeking through. Directors JD-Jerry have understood Saravanan’s pluses and minuses and shown him as a superhero.

Saravanan dances with many beauties. The villain has a whip fight and a rail fight with the gang. (Lots of role for dance masters and stunt masters.) Cinematographer Velraj has been careful to show Saravanan in style. Saravanan needs more training in acting.

Urvashi Ratela is coming as another heroine after the break. Prabhu shows brotherly affection to Saravan as his brother. Late Vivek, Nasser, Vijayakumar, Livingston, Mansoor Alikhan, Yogi Babu, Mylaswamy, Singambuli, Latha, Sachu are all stars in the film.

In Haris Jayaraj’s music, all the songs make you want to listen again and again. Huge halls, spectacular views, where money has been poured.
