This is the most recent documentary production from the Audiovisual Production Center of the Ministry of Culture (SECULTURA).
“Circo” tells the life of Ángel Ruiz, the owner of the “Los Traviesos” circus, who along with his family fights to keep his dream alive.
“Beyond the show, this documentary proposal is a sample of who they are, how they live, they are educated, where they sleep, what are the soils and desires of those who spend their lives under the traveling circus tent,” indicated SECULTURA.
The documentary, which has a duration of 39 minutes, will premiere on Friday, August 22 in the auditorium of the National Museum of Anthropology (MUNA) at 7:00 pm Admission is free.
“Circo” was produced by Mauro Arévalo who started this project a year ago. “In shifts of 8 to 14 hours a day we were living with the protagonists of this story,” he said.
Its production was in charge of national filmmakers such as Alejandra Funes, Aldo Merino and Edson Amaya.
