(time.news) – “May 6 continues to be a sadly engraved date in the memory of us Friulians. 47 years have passed but we still remember the devastation, the fear, the tragedy, the displaced people and all the people who lost their lives. The reconstruction of Friuli was and remains an example of strength, dignity, foresight and efficiency. An even stronger and more aware community was reborn from that tragedy”. So Luca Ciriani, minister for relations with Parliament on the sidelines of the meeting to commemorate the earthquake that struck Friuli on 6 May 1976.
