Citizens hand in their weapons to the Al-Sabri police station in Benghazi

The Benghazi Security Directorate announced that Al-Sabri Police Station had received weapons and ammunition from a number of citizens. This was within the framework of the plan drawn up by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Faraj Aqaim, and the instructions of the Director of Benghazi Security, Major General Nuri Al-Saadi, regarding the handover of weapons.

Benghazi Security Directorate indicated in statement On Thursday, it was reported to her that the citizens, Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Maghribi, Rafallah Jumaa, and Abdullah Al-Ramli, handed over their weapons and a quantity of ammunition to the head of Al-Sabri police station.

The head of Al-Sabri police station, Lt. Col. Faraj Al-Ashibi, urged all citizens to hand over their weapons before the end of the period granted for handing over weapons.
