Citroën is preparing a novelty that will debut this year and has already set the date for it: April 27th. The brand of the Stellantis group did not give more information about the product, but the progress of tests with its new SUV indicates that it is the C3 Aircross.

Using two well-known names in the market, the C3, which has been growing in sales, and Aircross, the name of its compact crossovers, Citroën will make a first static display of the car when it should also disclose the launch date.
Citroën highlighted that the “new SUV was designed and engineered in South America”. The intention is to highlight the world design character of the new vehicle.
But what is known about this SUV?
Citroën’s future crossover is aimed at emerging markets such as all of South America in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, among others, but also in markets such as India where the brand has a well-established presence.
It is precisely in India where the Citroën C3 Aircross has been extensively spotted. There you can see the high profile of the body as in the new C3 but with an extension in order to position a third row of seats. The new C3 Aircross should have five or seven seats depending on the version and two engine options are on the shelf to meet demand.
It is the EC5 four-cylinder 1.6-cylinder engine aspirated with 120 hp and 15.7 kgfm 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, in addition to the 1.0 turbo engine with 130 hp and 20.4 kgfm already used in models such as the Fiat Pulse and which will now come to other Stellantis cars.
The commercial launch of the new C3 Aircross will take place in the second half of the year, when details of the versions and prices will be announced.
