The Citroën C3 Aircross, as it is called by the Indian press, was spotted walking through the streets of India in camouflage. The model will have the capacity to transport up to 7 people, can measure 4.20 meters in length and should be manufactured in Porto Real, in Rio de Janeiro.

Even with the heavy camouflage, it is possible to see that the new 7-seater SUV from Citroën has the same visual pattern as the new C3, which is a hatchback with an SUV attitude, as the automaker calls it. The difference is that the “C” column of the crossover is wider, since it will have space for seven people, but there should also be a version for five passengers only.
The interior of the Citroën C3 Aircross maintains the hatchback’s visual pattern. However, the one in the image shows an entry-level version, since it adopts a manual transmission and does not have a multimedia center.
Regarding the engine, the Indian press is betting that the new Citroën model will have a 1.2 liter turbo engine with 110 hp. If you use the same engine as the C3 in Brazil, it can be equipped with a 1.3 liter Firefly engine with up to 75 hp or a 1.6 liter engine with up to 120 hp. The transmission can be either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic. However, there is still no information on when the model will be launched in the domestic market.
By having a simpler finish, the seven-seat model from Citroën should reach the Brazilian market to fight directly with the Chevrolet Spin, which was spotted at the end of last year by the R7 Autos Carros.
