After getting past Chelsea, Manchester City will have to face another tough team in the League Cup and will meet Liverpool in the fourth round. Jurgen Klopp’s team had a hard time against Derby County and passed it only after penalties, so in the next stage they will probably come up with a stronger lineup in order to fight for any title they can, especially in light of the disappointing ability in the league so far.
On the other side, the Citizens beat the Blues 0:2 with goals from Riyad Mahrez and Julian Albers. Their situation in the league is a little better and they are in second place, just two points behind Arsenal, while they are still in the picture to win four titles.
