Nominations for teh Best FIFA Football Awards 2024 have been announced, with City represented eight times in each category.
Pep Guardiola and Gareth Taylor are shortlisted for the coaching awards in menS and women’s football respectively, while Ederson and Ayaka Yamashita are shortlisted for the goalkeeper awards.
Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Lauren Hemp are up for the women’s award, while Erling Haaland and Rodri are up for the men’s.
Candidates for each category were selected by two expert panels, one for women’s football and one for men’s football.
Voting for each individual award will be equally weighted among fans, current captains and coaches of all women’s/men’s national teams, and the media.
Meanwhile, fans can also have their say in the Men’s and Women’s Top 11, with voting closing at 10:59pm (UK) on Tuesday 10 December.
The winners will be revealed at a ceremony in January 2025.

Shaw won the Barclays Women’s Super League Golden Boot in 2023/24 and was City’s top scorer in the process, she now has 84 goals in 97 games in all competitions.
Hemp has been one of the best players in the world for many years, despite being only 24 years old. In 2023/24, she scored 12 times in 29 appearances for City and was again named WSL Team of the Year.
