Dindigul: Japan Karate Ryu Martial Art held an event to award merit colored belts and certificates to karate students.
Bar Association President Murthy, Retired Public Health Department Officer Murugesan congratulated. Selector Rajagopal, coaches Gopinath, Kannan, Krithika and others participated. Dindigul: District Cricket Association organized a league match on behalf of TAG. Dindigul Mansoor Youngsters lost all wickets for 77 runs in 20.2 overs in the Second Division Prasithi Vidyothaya Trophy match. Dominic Samson and Jagankumar took 3 wickets each.
The Otanchatram Samurai team who played next lost 3 wickets in 12 overs and won by 80 runs. Karthik scored 25 runs. Vadamadurai: Shakti Boys Club organized an electric volleyball tournament. 24 teams from many districts including Trichy and Madurai participated. Raipalayam team won first place, Dindigul Five Star team won 2nd place, Golden Star team won 3rd place and Vadamadurai Sakthi Boys team won 4th place. Municipal councilor Karthikeyan presented the trophy to the winning teams at the award ceremony.
