Madurai: On behalf of Madurai Ellis Table Tennis Academy, Radha Memorial State Level Table Tennis Tournament was held.
In the 9-year-old singles category, Madurai player Joyap defeated Aruppukottai Maha Muneeswaran 3-0. Aruppukottai player Asila defeated Theni Kavisha 3-0. In the 11-year-old singles category, Erode Dishan defeated Madurai Krishnan 3-2. Dindigul Admika defeated Aruppukottai Asila 3-0. Today (June 5) men’s and women’s singles and doubles competitions will be held. In this Melur Allen – Tilak International Tadco School students Tanshik Aslam, Mohammad Nabis, Tanveer Raja, Mohammad Eshak Mujtaba won 2nd and 3rd places in Katta category and won the championship cup. Coach Mujibur Rahman won the Paramyoga Memorial Prize for Best Karate Judge. Chief Minister Zaheer Hussain congratulated the winning students.
