The Ciudadanos candidate for the Presidency of the Community of Madrid, Aruca Gómez, advanced this Monday that “she will recover the deduction in the regional section of personal income tax for investment in habitual residence from which all Madrid residents who are paying a mortgage would benefit” if manages to enter the regional government after the elections of May 28.
Specifically, Gómez highlighted that from Ciudadanos Comunidad de Madrid “we advocate recovering this deduction in the same terms as in 2012, when it was abolished, with a maximum limit of 9,040 euros per year on which the deduction can be applied, and 7, 5 deduction maximum”.
In this sense, Gómez assured that “he does not want a Spain at two speeds.” “Those of us who have this deduction and those who have been left without it due to a decision taken in 2012 by the PP government of Mariano Rajoy, which eliminated this deduction throughout Spain,” said the Ciudadanos candidate.
Likewise, from Ciudadanos they pointed out that “with this type of measure we want to soften the effort that families are making due to the rise in inflation, which has caused them to be the ones who have to assume the increase in prices.”
In addition, they pointed out that they defend “that a greater supply of housing will contribute to lower prices in places of great demand, which will favor young people to take that step towards their independence.”
