Civil Defense rescued four people trapped in a flood in Saudi Arabia

Rain continues in the western region of Saudi Arabia. It rained in Makkah, Jeddah and Tabuk on Wednesday as well.

Riyadh: Saudi Civil Defense rescued four people who were trapped inside a waterlogged vehicle in Madinah following heavy rain. Three people were rescued from Wadi Baidaal and one from Khyber Valley. Most parts of the region have received fairly good rainfall for the past two days.

The weather department has continuously issued warnings in the area. Necessary precautionary measures have been taken by the concerned departments. Civil Defense is monitoring low-lying areas. Rain continues in the western region of Saudi Arabia. It rained in Makkah, Jeddah and Tabuk on Wednesday as well. The sky in the region remains overcast. The Meteorological Center has informed that the rain will continue till Thursday morning. Following this, a holiday has been given to educational institutions in Makkah, Jeddah, Jamum, Kamil, Rabiq and Khulais on Thursday as well.

Meanwhile, heavy snowfall continues in the northern region of Saudi Arabia. Snow fell again in the Allous Mountains of Tabuk. The snowfall started from Tuesday night and continued till Wednesday morning. The mountains are covered with water. Cold weather is also strong in the area.

A week ago there was similar heavy snowfall in the Alloush mountains. Many people in and around Tabuk come to see the mountains covered with snow. It has become a tourist destination due to the influx of tourists.
