The dead man was Alexander Dobrolyubov from Narva. According to information from RusDelfi from his friends, he was not going to go to Geneva that evening, he decided at the last minute. In my memory he will forever remain so, kind, smiling.”
From the police commentary it is known that at 01:00 on November 2, the Alarm Center received a message that there was a loser in the Narva nightclub in Geneva. An ambulance arrived at the scene, but the man could not be revived. According to the manager of the night club, Vladimir Aret, as soon as the man became ill, the security responded. “The guard went downstairs and called an ambulance, while they were waiting, the man was given first aid, we did everything we could,” said Aret. He added that everything that happened happened under cameras, and that security intervened as soon as they saw the incident. Aret declined to comment further, stating that the first thing that will happen next is police work.
According to Eric Purgel, the operational director of Ida Prefecture, the police were called to the scene at 01.30. The police discovered that there was a conflict between the deceased and another man, which escalated into a fight. The police held a 23-year-old man as a suspect, with whom the conflict took place.
“To investigate the circumstances of the incident, a criminal case was opened under the article about causing death by negligence. An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death of the 40-year-old man,” said the head of the Ida Prefecture operation.
