According to Biden, “it’s not a question of freedom or personal choice – it’s about protecting yourself and those around you.” The rest of the public and private sector workers in the United States, who, for whatever reason, do not want to be vaccinated, will still leave an alternative in the form of PCR tests. However, this is not a concession: according to the new rules, the employer will have to submit certificates at least once a week. And, of course, at your own expense. The US Department of Labor is preparing this emergency measure for all companies with more than 100 employees. And the Swiss National Council proposed to oblige unvaccinated residents infected with COVID to pay sick leave themselves.
