Kiev,

The war between Ukraine and Russia is very intense. The Russian army has been attacking Ukraine’s power stations and major cities. While many civilians have been killed in these attacks, there have been massive power outages and many cities have been plunged into darkness.

At the same time, countries including the United Kingdom and the United States are providing military assistance to the Ukrainian army. Recently, the United States government provided about 275 million dollars worth of military aid to Ukraine. So far, the US government led by Biden has provided a total of 18.5 billion dollars worth of military and economic aid to Ukraine.

Meanwhile, in order to increase Russia’s strength in the war, last September, Russian President Putin ordered a massive recruitment of soldiers to join the Russian army. According to this, an additional 300,000 soldiers will be mobilized for the Russian army, the country’s Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced.

This announcement was strongly condemned by the Russian people, and protests broke out in many places. More than a thousand people were arrested in these protests. At the same time, the work of gathering troops for the war was going on. In this case, the Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu has said that the work of gathering soldiers for the Russian army has been completed.

Ukrainian President Zelensky expressed doubts about this announcement. Addressing this on television, he said that the claim that Russia’s team building is over is dubious. He also said that pro-Russian forces are performing poorly and may need more personnel.
