“In three years we have to create a transformative and guiding government. I want to call on you to have a project that we can launch in these three years, which will allow the population to see and feel the transformation, that is fundamental,” he said.

Brugada warned that his government will prioritize the issue of water, public services, well-being and the recovery of public space through Utopias with a focus on care, as well as security.

Regarding this last point, the elected head of government asked the elected mayors to create their security cabinet to work together with the local government, “this allows us to coordinate and guarantees that we are very clear about how we are doing on the issue.”

“We must get involved, because if we attend a security cabinet to only hear about how many robberies, how many homicides, it is pointless; we have to get involved very hard to help in the security issue and it must be very clear what has to be done in the security cabinets.”

He asked future public servants at all levels not to waste resources and to direct the budget allocated to the City in a responsible, honest and transparent manner.

“We are going to govern this city together and we are going to do it well; we are going to guarantee that everything we do will have positive results for the population. We must make a great effort and give the mayors the power to do it through administration again, only then, colleagues, will we be able to have more resources or manage them better for other issues,” he requested.
