Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Arabiya published a report in which it stated that the Saudi Health Specializations Authority confirmed the seizure of a number of forged health certificates issued by a fake university in Sudan, which were seized recently.

The report continued, the authority made it clear that it was able to seize the forged certificates before Sudan announced the seizure of the fake university, pointing out that the owners of these certificates were not able to pass the authority’s auditing standards, stressing that it follows strict procedures in classification and registration that prevent unqualified from entering the health sector, especially coming from abroad.

She indicated that the procedures for documenting and verifying certificates are subject to scrutiny before the health practitioner comes to work, as the validity of the certificates is verified before submitting classification applications.

The report concluded, although the war on forged certificates began several years ago with an individual effort on social networking sites, recent years have witnessed a great leap in terms of regulations and laws that have been imposed, including professional exams, where those coming from outside Saudi Arabia must undergo and pass these exams, especially in health, technical and engineering disciplines.
