Five students were injured in a clash between two groups at the Jaffna University College of Science last night, police said.
Police said the clash took place between second and third year students due to an argument at a hotel at Palpanni Junction.
The injured students have been admitted to the Jaffna Teaching Hospital, police said.
No arrests have been made so far in connection with the incident and Kopay police are conducting further investigations.
