jpnn.comJAKARTA – Class IIA Tangerang Penitentiary (Lapas), Banten Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, enlivened the 2024 Kakanwil Cup activities.
This activity was organized by the Banten Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights which took place at the GOR Class I Tangerang Prison on Friday and Saturday (13-14/9/2024).
Acting Director General of Corrections Reynhard Silitonga inaugurated and opened the 2024 Badminton Kakanwil Cup.
Also present and participating in this tournament were the Head of the Banten Kemenkumham Regional Office, Romi Yudianto, along with the Pimti Pratama, the Head of the Banten Regional Technical Implementation Unit and all Badminton participants, both employees and inmates.
“It is a great pleasure to be able to enliven the 2024 Kakanwil Cup. In the midst of our work as Correctional Officers, this activity brings fresh air and refreshment for Officers and Inmates to compete with each other in a sporting manner and also show their talents and abilities in the sport of Badminton,” said the Head of Class IIA Tangerang Prison, Tri Winarsih.
The opening of the Kakanwil Cup was marked by the first serve by the Acting Director General of Corrections together with the Head of the Banten Kemenkumham Regional Office.
The match was enlivened by the Class IIA Tangerang Prison in the Women’s Singles and Doubles matches for both Employees and Inmates, which were won by WBP Laduta and LPP Tangerang Employees.
“I appreciate the good cooperation between all Work Units in Banten in making this activity a success. Through this Kakanwil Cup, all participants get the opportunity to develop themselves positively, and build self-confidence. Good luck and have a good match,” said Reynhard Silitonga.
