Lessons in Magadan schools have been canceled due to reports of their mining, operational services are working on the ground, Interfax reported, citing the press service of the regional government.

“The lessons will be held remotely. The parents were notified of the incident. Now operational services are working on the ground, ”the press service said. Also, lyceums and colleges of the city received reports of mining, students were taken out of buildings. Checks are being made.

Since the beginning of studies at schools and universities in January, there have been reports of alleged mining of educational institutions in various regions of Russia. Educational institutions were reported to have been mined in Saratov, Yekaterinburg and Krasnoyarsk. In all cases, the reports of possible explosions turned out to be false.

In November 2021, anonymous sources reported that bombs had been planted in 15 district courts in the capital. The FSB reported that letters of this content were mainly sent from abroad. In 2019, a wave of “mining” of various objects was observed in Russia. Unidentified persons send e-mails with information about bomb threats in courts, schools, shopping centers, shops, universities, railway stations and airports. In early January, information appeared about the “mining” of all shopping centers in Moscow, some of them were evacuated for the duration of the inspection.
