The virtual president-elect of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaumhe said that the taxes will be according to the inflation “as is normally done”.
After his meeting with the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, Rogelio Ramirez de la Ocommented that the federal government’s finances are healthy, so there will be no new taxes.
Likewise, Claudia Sheinbaum preliminarily presented the resources that will be allocated to the programs and public workswithout leaving aside the issue of taxes that will correspond to inflation.

After her meeting with Rogelio Ramírez, virtual president Claudia Sheinbaum assured that next year there will be no tax increase, only what is provided for in the tax miscellany.
He added that the tax increase will be in “real terms, which corresponds to inflation, as is done every year,” something that “It is not new” and ” is usually done.”
However, Claudia Sheinbaum made it clear that the finances are healthy and that the current government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) will close with positive numbers.

Claudia Sheinbaum plans a budget of 300 billion pesos for social programs, works, housing and more
The next president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, projected a budget of 300 billion for the creation of new social programs, works, housing and more.
He indicated that this large budget will be obtained after reorienting the new investments that result from the large investments that end this year.
This budget is planned to include the projects of the railway routes as:
- AIFA-Pachuca Train
- Mexico-San Luis Potosi-Monterrey-Nuevo Laredo Train
- Mexico-Querétaro-Guadalajara Train
“We are allocating enough resources for the train project, enough resources for water projects, resources also for current social programs, new social programs.”

Claudia Sheinbaum added that within the budget of 300 billion, the implementation of the water plan is planned, in addition to:
- current social programs
- New support for basic education
- Support for women aged 60 to 64
- home medical visits
- Free medicines for seniors
“And also the budget for next year, the budget for next year is being considered. 3 percent deficit, which is something that any Government accepts,” concluded Claudia Sheinbaum.
