The controversy surrounding Claudine Gay began in December, with the responses she gave in Congress to a Republican congresswoman who compared the calls of some Harvard students to “a genocide against Jews in Israel and the world”. congressmen demanded his departure, Gay gained support from the educational community and maintained his position.
