This event, which is part of the “Clean Beaches” program, led by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection under the chairmanship of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, aims to raise awareness among people with specific needs about environmental issues, in particular the fight against plastic pollution of seas and oceans, indicates a press release from the Office.

On this occasion, a rich and varied awareness program of socio-educational, sporting, cultural and artistic activities was set up for the benefit of holidaymakers with specific needs at the ONEE educational village, continues the same source, noting that this program includes awareness workshops on environmental protection, waste recycling activities, drawing competitions, sports competitions with trophy awards, etc.

Furthermore, since the launch of the “Clean Beaches” campaign this year, ONEE has set up facilities at Bouznika beach dedicated to holidaymakers with specific needs, including wooden walkways to the beach, specific toilet blocks, designated relaxation areas, and beach chairs for people with reduced mobility to swim (Tiralos).

These actions are part of ONEE’s ongoing commitment, as a corporate citizen, contributing to the social inclusion of people with specific needs and raising citizens’ awareness of the rational use of water resources and the preservation of the environment.
