Clearmind Medicine Inc. announced the filing of a patent application under the international Patent Cooperation Treaty. This is part of the ongoing collaboration between the company and the Yissum Research Development Company of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem under the exclusive licensing agreement that the company has entered into with Yissum. This patent application pertains to Generation 3.0 of the psychedelic compounds, methods for their production, and their use in the treatment of mental disorders, and was developed by Prof. Dmitry Tsvelikhovsky of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The PCT filing will enable the company to transition to the national phase, which involves submitting applications to regional offices in various countries to obtain patent protection in key jurisdictions such as the USA, Europe, China, and India.
