jpnn.comRIAU – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Company (BMKG) has introduced climate forecasts displaying the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in some areas of Riau on Tuesday (2/7).
Forecaster On Responsibility BMKG Pekanbaru, Gita Desi stated that within the morning, there may be potential for mild rain in components of Dumai Metropolis, Indragiri Hilir Regency, and Indragiri Hulu.
From afternoon to night, there may be potential for mild to average rain in components of Kampar Regency, Indragiri Hulu, Indragiri Hilir, Pelalawan, Rokan Hulu, and components of Pekanbaru Metropolis.
At evening, there may be potential for mild rain in some areas of Pelalawan Regency.
“Early warning, pay attention to average to heavy rain which may be accompanied by lightning and powerful winds predicted to happen in components of Indragiri Hilir, Pelalawan, Kampar Regency within the morning or afternoon,” defined Gita.
The estimated wave top within the waters of Riau Province ranges between 0.5 – 1.25 meters (Low).
“Three hotspots weren’t monitored within the Riau area right now,” he stated.
The air temperature in Riau reaches 23.0 – 32.0 °C, air humidity 60 – 99 %, wind course North-West – North-East / 10 – 30 km/h. (mcr36/jpnn)
