Forecast. The bulletin of the Institute of Seismology, Volcanology, Meteorology and Hydrology (Insivumeh), a warm environment is expected during the day, cold during the night and early morning.
Furthermore, the Insivumeh during the week foresees wind predominating from the northeast, moderate with cloudiness, rain and low daytime temperatures during the first days of the week. On Monday, the entry of a new cold front is expected to last until Wednesday, November 29. The approach of cold front No. 5 could increase cloudiness with intermittent drizzle or rain during the period over some regions of the country.
Effects. The cold front could affect the Northern, Northern Transverse Belt and Caribbean regions with rain.
In addition, scattered drizzles over the West, Eastern Valleys and Central Altiplano, as well as scattered rains over Bocacosta, are not ruled out. Due to the high pressure system moving the front, the speed of the north wind will gradually increase, reaching speeds between 35 to 45 km/h in the capital city, being greater in mountainous sectors or with canyons. Speed and humidity. Starting on Thursday the 30th, the weakening of the high pressure system will promote a gradual decrease in the speed of the wind coming from the north and giving way to the entry of moisture from the Pacific Ocean.
Due to this situation, daytime temperatures gradually increase and the possibility of scattered rain over Bocacosta and scattered sectors of the West, Central Highlands and Valleys of the East, mainly during Friday 01 and Saturday 02. At dawn, low temperatures are expected over the highest places in the West. mainly during mid-week and towards the weekend. During the week the influence of a cold front and the high pressure system that accompanies it is noted. There is no alert for the direct or indirect influence of tropical cyclones during the period.
