The French president Emmanuel Macron was challenged at the entrance of the European Parliament of Strasbourg – on the day on which he presented the political strategy for the semester of the presidency of Council of the EU – by a small group of environmentalists, present inside the building. As the president entered the institutional entrance, accompanied by the newly elected president of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the environmental protesters shouted at him from the second floor “Climat, Climat, Macron coupable”, that is “Macron guilty”. The young people also had a sign with them, immediately seized by the security present. The four were escorted out of the building.
