A woman tourist climbed a Mayan pyramid in Mexico and acted like she was dancing, leaving people outraged. The incident happened on Monday. The tourist is believed to be Spanish. It is said that they bypassed all rules and procedures to enter the Mayan temple of Kukulkan at Chichen Itza.
The woman’s act made people furious. The crowd threw water on them, abused them and demanded their immediate arrest. People reportedly assaulted them, alleging that they had hurt their sentiments by entering the holy temple.
In footage shared on social media, a woman can be seen climbing the building, ignoring the protests of onlookers below the pyramid. The crowd got angrier when the woman appeared to be dancing on top.

It is said that security personnel from the Mexican Institute of Anthropology and History brought the woman down. The security officials are trying to get them out safely despite the continuous noise made by the enraged locals. But, meanwhile, a woman grabbed their hair and pulled it. Others reportedly even threw stones at them. The crowd demanded that they should be arrested and put in jail.
The woman was arrested and fined for trespassing at the World Heritage site, the report said.
