The enterprising undertaking, completed in 2025, encompasses cutting-edge sports infrastructure, enhanced security measures, and luxurious social spaces, all designed to solidify the club’s position as a premier destination for athletes and families.According to a statement released this Tuesday, the club experienced a year of significant growth and innovation, culminating in the unveiling of thes new facilities.
“Today we deliver one of the largest projects in the history of our Club,” stated President Mario Álvarez Soto during a recent ceremony. “The construction of a project such as the swimming pool takes us to another level, as well as a Golf simulator, and several Padel courts.” He further emphasized that the success was a result of “a tremendous administration and a dedicated management,” alongside the unwavering support of the club’s membership.
Investing in Athletic Excellence
The club’s commitment to athletic growth is evident in the upgrades across a wide range of sports. The club’s athletes have achieved “resounding triumphs, at the local and international level,” in disciplines including Judo, Swimming, Karate, Basketball, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Baseball, Golf, and Tennis, as noted by Sports Director Manuel de Jesús Coronado.
The new facilities directly support this athletic prowess.Three Padel courts have been constructed, catering to the rapidly growing popularity of the sport, alongside two state-of-the-art Golf Simulator Bays, allowing for year-round practice irrespective of weather conditions.
Prioritizing Member Safety and Comfort
Beyond athletic enhancements, the Naco Club has made considerable investments in member safety and overall comfort. A significant upgrade involved replacing a “highly hazardous bridge over the pools” with a wide, elegant corridor, eliminating a potential hazard for both children and adults.
Security has been dramatically enhanced with the installation of 239 security cameras providing 24/7 surveillance across the entire club grounds. This investment underscores the club’s dedication to providing a secure surroundings for its members.
The renovations extend beyond sports and security, encompassing significant improvements to the club’s social spaces. The Sport Bar has undergone rigorous acoustic conditioning and soundproofing, ensuring an optimal environment for events and gatherings. A modern Cigar lounge has been integrated, and the Cafeteria has been fully air-conditioned, enhancing the overall member experience.
The club also focused on creating spaces that cater to modern lifestyles. the former “dovecote” has been transformed into an extension of the Trattoria restaurant, and a new Cyber Café provides a dedicated space for work or business meetings. A full kitchen/BBQ area and a pool bar have been added to streamline service and enhance the poolside experience.
Aquatic Center Redefined
The aquatic areas received the most substantial overhaul, incorporating superior design and advanced engineering. The pool surroundings are now covered with non-slip Italian porcelain tile with low thermal conductivity,ensuring comfort and safety. The children’s pool has been reimagined as a modern beach-style design with artificial water mushrooms, while the recreational pool has been completely rebuilt.
The project’s complexity demanded a high level of technical expertise, including the construction of a tunnel for the machine room, underground wiring, autonomous drainage systems, a water treatment plant, and a comprehensive fire protection system. Structural reinforcement was also undertaken on the building housing the Sport Bar and Spa,with architectural plans created for future headquarters development.
